Terms of Service [T.O.S]

There is actually a lot we can do for you in the way of advice about doing business in China that is free. We are happy to meet and chat with you to answer broad questions and set you on the right track.
Later if wish us to prepare anything in writing in the way marketing plans, analysis, proposals or marketing outlines then you will need to consider the possibility of payment as we do request a 30,000 rmb deposit as an act of good faith and to cover our Intellectual Property or use of our ideas without paying, in short, theft. This practice is, along with blatant wholesale copying, common in China and something we would caution you on.
This deposit is non refundable, but of course during the negotiation stage we are happy to discuss and modify any non specific items until we can accommodate your wishes and suit your needs exactly
When we later sign an agreement to work together this 30,000rmb is deducted from our total fee.
Preparation of outlines or proposals usually take 1 month, but exact time depends on the complexity of the task.
As BTi is the pivotal point we confidently guarantee our work and quotations. However there are some aspects of Business in China, such as Government Policies, that even we are unable to control!

We know China, China business, China marketing.
We mean
business
in China.

Fee Structure

All our fees are quoted in Chinese currency, RMB or YUAN.
As a guide our fees range from about 50,000rmb for a basic product or competitor research to 900,000 for a full marketing plan and implementation, depending on the scope and nature of the job.
However we do realise that small businesses may not have a huge cash flow so we are very happy to sit down, talk to you and design something that meets both your needs and your budget
We will give you a written quotation prior to agreement.

On longer term projects of more than 3 months we usually ask for progress payments to keep the action rolling.
As we develop an on going relationship we will offer more attractive terms and a "Favoured Client" status.
As a legally registered Beijing Company we are authorised [and legally required] to provide you with invoices for payments received.
Our fee to you will include all Chinese taxes, sundries, disposable's and surcharges unless specifically stated in the agreement. You will not be stuck with "Surprise" extras at time of invoicing.
